Black Bear - Black bears are abundant, and big bears are taken every year. Hunters should see multiple bears a day and have an opportunity to harvest a good bear.

Grizzly Bear - Grizzly bear populations are high in the area we hunt. These mountain grizzlies are a coveted trophy.

Canadian Moose - Moose populations are good, a mature bull in this area will average 40-50 inches wide with big bulls going between 50-55 inches.

Fall Elk - Elk populations are on the rise, regulations require that only six point or better bulls can be harvested, ensuring higher bull/cow ratios and young bulls get an opportunity to mature. Bulls between 280-340 B&C points are common, with larger class bulls going 350-400 B&C.

Mule Deer - Mule deer populations are on the rise. Several record book bucks have been harvested in the regions we hunt. Mature four point bucks will average between 140 & 170 B&C with the big bucks going 180+. We also offer Whitetails which can be added for a trophy fee as a second deer, although not as plentiful as the Mule Deer, the Whitetail here can go book.

Mountain Goat - Mountain Goats are dispersed through the Northern area we lease. This is an excellent trophy and would be complemented by a trophy Caribou who share some of the same habitat.

Caribou - There is a good population of Caribou in the Northern end of one of our leased areas. The Wolverine herd we hunt is estimated at about 400-500 animals.

Predator - We have good populations of Lynx to hunt and we certainly have no shortage of Coyotes. Wolves although elusive are stable to increasing in this area and it is recommended every hunter have a wolf tag.

Waterfowl - Every year thousands of geese and ducks migrate through the central interior of B.C. stopping for several weeks to rest and feed in the rich agricultural lands of the Central Interior. Common species are Greater and Lesser Canada Geese, Mallard, Northern Pintail, Blue and Green wing Teal, and various other species of ducks. Hunts will be guided on private land consisting of barley, alfalfa, and pea crops, as well as wetland areas favored by waterfowl. Our primary focus will be on geese, but there will be many opportunity for ducks.

Fishing - Fish opportunities abound in this part of B.C. The many lakes and rivers hold an abundant diversity of cold water fish. Rainbows, Lake Trout, and Dolly Varden, are the most common sport fish caught. If you finish your hunt early, you are welcome to fish as much as you’d like. We have some rods/reels in camp, but you may wish to bring your own, especially if you are a serious fisherman. Fly, spin and casting methods all work well.
