The following is what the
guides and hosts of this special Canada fishing package
have to say about their lodge and the fishing
opportunities there:
Our
popular fishing lodge is located on the shore of beautiful Quesnel Lake, British
Columbia, known to be the deepest fresh water fjord lake in the world.
Quesnel Lake and the surrounding waters, including
the Quesnel River, Horsefly River, Mitchell River and Cariboo River are home to
the largest most aggressive strain of wild native rainbow trout on the planet.
Let our professional guides introduce you to spectacular guided dry fly fishing
on the Horsefly River, Quesnel River, Cariboo River and Mitchell River. Your
guided river fly fishing experience will excite you & challenge your skills as
you pursue these trophy rainbow trout in a pristine British Columbia setting
that rates second to none. In addition to these fantastic rainbow trout, be
prepared to get into your backing as our guides expose you to the challenge of
trying to land a large Bull Trout amongst the salmon that are completing their
amazing life cycle in the rivers of this ecosystem.
The nutrients released by this incredible cycle attracts a variety of BC
wildlife such as Grizzly & Black Bears to tiny Weasels & every native carnivore
in between. While Eagles are prevalent all year, guests visiting in September &
October are generally awestruck by the dozens upon dozens of these magnificent
birds feeding on the expired salmon that have completed their life cycle.
Our famous fishing lodge offers you a guided fly fishing adventure in a part of
our world that everyone should experience - the incredible Cariboo Region of
British Columbia, Canada. And, for both fly fishing enthusiast & fly fishing
novice alike, you'll create incredible memories that will last a lifetime. Truly
world class guided fly fishing at its best!

While we encourage a 100% catch & release policy on the Quesnel River, Horsefly
River, Mitchell River and Cariboo River, guests fishing the area's prolific
stillwater lakes are welcome to bring back a few fish for the smoker or griddle.
