Trophy Hunting Safaris Africa Trophy Hunting Trips
Our Game Lodge in Namibia offers you guided hunting
trips on their exquisite game farm just south of
Windhoek, Namibia. We offer 14 species of plains game on
400,000 ha of conservation area, making this game farm
the perfect location for plains game hunting.
The average hunter will take one trophy per day, but
there is no set limit to the amount of trophies per
hunter during a safari. To ensure the ultimate hunting
experience combined with appreciating the unique
Namibian environment we recommend planning your hunting
trip to last around 8 to 10 days (hunting season starts
on 1 February and ends on 30 November). With 80% of the
hunting trophies acquired qualifying for gold medals
according to the Namibian quality control system, even
inexperienced hunters are guaranteed a successful
hunting safari.
Plains Game Hunting Trophies Taken This Year:

Your host and professional hunting guide has many years of
trophy hunting experience at the Namibia Game Lodge. He has been a professional
hunter for more than 12 years and has lived on this particular game lodge for
more than 25 years. Allowing him to lead you on a hunting safari will ensure not
only the success of the hunt but ultimately the safety of the whole hunting
expedition.
For the inexperienced hunter your guide will provide help with rifle settings on
the shooting range before the start of the hunting safari.
A typical hunting day will start bright and early (6 o'clock) with a hearty
breakfast buffet. The hunting method employed is spotting and stalking. The
hunter will spot huntable game with binoculars while cruising in a 4x4 vehicle.
Then the hunter will stalk the prey until a shooting opportunity presents itself
(recommended rifles - .270 up to .300). Depending on the success of the hunt,
lunch will be served either at the lodge or on the plains as not to interrupt
the progress made on the hunting safari. Hunting will continue into the
afternoon if so desired by the guests.
At our Game Hunting Lodge in Namibia you can expect to hunt typical plains game.
Huntable plains game includes Eland, Mountain Zebra, Oryx, Buffalo, Kudu, Black
Wildebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Red Hartebeest, Blesbuck, Springbuck and Waterbuck.
Warthog and Baboon can also be hunted on The Game Farm.
